Privacy Policy

How EKEI handles personal information.

The information EKEI collects through this website, why it is used and the choices available to each individual.

01

Data controller

[LEGAL COMPANY NAME], trading as EKEI, is the controller of personal information collected through this website. Its registered office is [REGISTERED OFFICE] and its tax identification number is [TAX ID / NIF].

Privacy enquiries and rights requests may be sent to [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL]. Data Protection Officer contact: [DPO CONTACT, IF APPLICABLE; OTHERWISE STATE NOT APPLICABLE].

02

Information we collect

When a user submits the contact form, EKEI collects the selected inquiry type, name, email address, optional company name and message. Users should only provide information that is relevant to their enquiry.

The website and its infrastructure may also process limited technical data required to deliver and secure the service, such as IP address, request time, browser or device information, security events and server logs. The exact production logging configuration must match the hosting arrangements identified below.

03

Purposes and legal bases

EKEI uses contact information to assess and respond to investment, project, partnership, construction or general enquiries; route the message internally; take steps requested before entering into a possible business relationship; maintain necessary records; protect the website; prevent abuse; and comply with legal obligations.

Depending on the nature of the enquiry, processing is based on steps taken at the user's request before entering into a contract, EKEI's legitimate interest in handling relevant professional enquiries and protecting its services, or compliance with a legal obligation. Consent will only be relied on where it is specifically requested for an additional purpose.

Final basis by inquiry type: [CONFIRM THE FINAL LEGAL BASIS FOR EACH CONTACT INQUIRY TYPE].

EKEI does not use contact-form information for newsletters or unrelated marketing unless the individual has been separately informed and a valid legal basis has been established.

04

Required and optional information

Inquiry type, name, email address and message are required so that EKEI can understand and answer the request. Company name is optional. If required information is not provided, EKEI may be unable to review or respond to the enquiry.

05

Recipients and service providers

Information may be accessed by authorised EKEI personnel and, where necessary, relevant group personnel or professional advisers who need it to assess the enquiry. It may also be disclosed to public authorities when required by law.

The contact form uses Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend) to deliver the message by email. The message is then received through EKEI's mailbox provider. Hosting and security providers may process technical request data to operate and protect the website.

  • Email delivery provider: Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend), United States
  • Group recipients: [CONFIRM WHETHER LEXINTO GROUP OR ANY OTHER GROUP ENTITY RECEIVES OR ACCESSES INQUIRIES]
  • Hosting / CDN provider: [HOSTING / CDN PROVIDER AND COUNTRY]
  • Recipient mailbox provider: [RECIPIENT MAILBOX PROVIDER AND COUNTRY]

06

International transfers

Resend states that account data, including email metadata, logs and API records, is stored in the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, EKEI will use an applicable legal transfer mechanism and any supplementary measures required for the transfer.

Transfer safeguard to confirm for the production account and all other providers: [CONFIRM THE APPLICABLE TRANSFER SAFEGUARD, SUCH AS AN ADEQUACY DECISION OR STANDARD CONTRACTUAL CLAUSES].

07

Retention

EKEI will retain contact enquiries for [INTERNAL RETENTION PERIOD FOR CONTACT INQUIRIES], unless a longer period is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, comply with law, or maintain records connected with an active business relationship.

Resend states that email data is retained for 30 days by default. Copies delivered to EKEI's mailbox are governed by EKEI's internal retention rule and the mailbox provider's configuration.

Hosting and security logs are retained for [HOSTING / SECURITY LOG RETENTION PERIOD]. Data will be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required, subject to applicable legal obligations.

08

Your rights

Individuals may request access to their personal information, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Requests should be sent to [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL].

Individuals also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or another competent supervisory authority. EKEI may request information reasonably necessary to verify the identity of the person making a request.

09

Security

EKEI applies proportionate technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should avoid including unnecessary confidential or sensitive information in the contact form.

10

Minors and sensitive information

The website is intended for professional and adult audiences and is not directed at children. The contact form is not designed to collect special-category personal data, identity documents, bank details or highly confidential information. Users should not submit such information unless EKEI has expressly requested it through an appropriate secure channel.

11

Automated decisions

EKEI does not use contact-form information to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

12

The current website does not use advertising cookies or analytics cookies. It uses a session-storage key to remember, during the current browser session, whether the introductory animation has already been shown. This information is not used to identify a user, build a profile or track activity across websites.

If analytics, advertising or other non-essential storage technologies are introduced, this policy and the website's consent controls will be updated before those technologies are activated where consent is required.

13

Changes to this policy

EKEI may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, providers or processing activities. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate notice when required. The version published on this page applies from its stated last-updated date.
